LINDA TESSAR a well-seasoned (lightly charred) professional is in the middle of realizing her retirement dream post retirement – that of going back into the classroom. “In the middle” is defined as being in the process of setting up a new multiple handicapped unit for Boone County Schools in Union, KY! Interestingly – Primary through 5th grade MH kids are in no way impressed with those “career-long records of achievement in those demanding corporate and entrepreneurial environments.” In three short weeks every coaching, management, sales, consulting and organizational skill Linda’s claimed to have honed over her career have been tried, tested and trounced!

Seriously, after 25 years in marketing research, Linda’s found there is a whole other world out there though she continues to do some marketing research consulting locally. Most recently she left building CEO peer groups with TEC International to care for a family member. Still of the belief that to be a part of a community one must be actively involved in that community – Linda continues to serve on various boards or committees with local professional and non-profit organizations.

Beyond that trust that Linda’s alive, well, kicking and enjoying the challenges of a new “old” career!
